“Today, weddings are not my specialty, however, many years ago as a young photographer I certainly did my share.
I find these days with so many talented young wedding shooters, there are some seriously talented photographers with innovative styles for today’s young bride and groom. So many now to choose from. Today’s brides demand a different look, different documentation, colors, filters, presets, and movement to their pictures. It’s now about staying relevant and current.
What has not changed over the decades I’ve been shooting is working with light and emotion and feeling, to capture that special moment in time and the experience needed to do that job.. This is why for me, working with Maggie and Alan to capture their wedding memories was a job I couldn’t pass up.. Below are some of my favourites.”

I love posting this series of shots from my evening shoots with my daughters, Sophie and Audrey. I decided to go minimally for these sessions with no speedlights or reflectors or a bag full of lenses. All shots done below I used only my Nikon Z7 and a single 50 1.8 lens..
